ANORTHOSIS FC SHOWS SOLIDARITY WITH THE REFUGEES OF UKRAINE
As a club that has experienced and is experiencing the refugee crisis, Anorthosis FC could not remain indifferent to the drama of other people and expresses its solidarity openly and in every way.
As soon as the Ukrainian war broke out, the club, on the initiative of its President, Mr. Christos Poullaidis, showed sensitivity and hosted children from the country who were forced by the war to flee the country. There they can spend their creative hours, read and not be deprived of their sacred and inalienable right to education.
On the occasion of World Refugee Day (20/6), the Deputy Chairman of the company, Mr. Andreas Poullaidis, visited the specially designed room “Kyriakos Theocharous” and gave gifts to the children. As he told them, it is the mission of Anorthosis to be by their side as the ”refugee club” that they are, and this will remain so until the problem in their country is solved.
For their part, the children’s teachers thanked Anorthosis and the Pullaidis Family for their hospitality and the way they welcomed them from the very first moment. As for the children, they loved it!
